This site about scientists discovering and domumenting microorganisms in the  Russian  far east is typical of the  content found at an Exploratorium web site.  However we used it  to try a number of things including using off-the  shelf-software for slide shows, whether having  voice over and captions  for users to access would be a problem.

We also tested  various arrangments for  producing this site in two languages.
