Craig Rosa
Craig Rosa KQED Interactive Producer, QUEST
Craig is responsible for the integration of traditional and web-based media across all QUEST platforms, as well as ongoing production of web-only science, environment, and nature content. He is also coordinating QUEST's participation in online social networks. Craig's current work focuses upon geospatial metadata (e.g. GPS coordinates), digital photography, and user-generated content (UGC) in the context of Public Media.
Prior to joining KQED in October of 2006, Craig spent 11 years with The Tech Museum of Innovation, a hands-on science and technology center located in the heart of Silicon Valley. He worked with internet & exhibition technologies to create innovative educational visitor experiences, both online and within the museum space. Craig was also responsible for the oversight of the museum's Information Services operations. Craig began his informal science interpretation career at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, where he was an Assistant Exhibit Developer and Greenhouse Program Coordinator.
Craig has a B.A. in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA, and an M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University.
